EDUC 414 - Teaching Exceptional Adolescents (3cr.)Credit(s): 3 TCHNG EXCEPTIONAL ADOLESCENTS Component: Lecture Examines characteristics of exceptional adolescents and the historical, legal and philosophical bases for special education. Focuses on teaching students with special needs within general education settings using research-based instructional strategies, classroom management, and related services. Allowed Units: 3 Multiple Term Enrollment: N Grading Basis: Student Option RESTRICTIONS: Open only to students in secondary education majors, the Health Behavior Science major, the Disabilities Studies minor, and the Educational Studies minor.
