Uses calculus to study price determination and income distribution in a market economy; and the behavior of firms and industry under conditions of pure and imperfect competition.

PREREQ: Must earn C- or better in ECON 101  and one of the following: MATH 221  , MATH 222  , MATH 241  ,MATH 242  or MATH 243   RESTRICTIONS: Credit can be earned for only one among ECON 251 , ECON 255 , ECON 300  or ECON301. BS majors must take ECON301.
