FINC 314 - Investments (3cr.)Credit(s): 3 INVESTMENTS Component: Lecture Examines the valuation of securities, the functioning of securities markets and the theory and practice of modern portfolio management. Topics include advanced techniques in security valuation, standards and practices in investment management, portfolio evaluation standards and applications using real-time data. Allowed Units: 3 Grading Basis: Student Option PREREQ: MATH 202 or MISY 262 and FINC 311 . RESTRICTIONS: Requires a grade of C- or better in MATH 201 and MATH 202 or MISY 262 and FINC 311 .
