Component: Lecture
Development and application of models for fluid flow and contaminant transport in porous media. Derivation of governing equations, analytical and numerical solutions, and application to movement of groundwater and transport of contaminants at an actual field site.
Allowed Units: 3 Grading Basis: Student Option
PREREQ: Previous coursework in fluid mechanics and partial differential equations, or permission of instructor.
