NEW STUDENT COLLOQUIUM
Component: Lecture
Focuses on helping PLSC students make a smooth transition to college and a establishing a solid foundation for achieving success. Topics include ethics and academic honesty, responsible use of the internet and social media, academic policies and procedures, diversity, safety and wellness, campus services, undergraduate research opportunities, and tours of the UD Botanical Gardens and organic and conventional farms on the South Campus. We will also focus on being a “green” classroom (i.e. no-few handouts).
Allowed Units: 1 Grading Basis: Pass/Not Pass
