Program Requirements
The 4+1 MS in Environmental Science and Management program allows students the ability to earn the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Masters of Science in Environmental Science and Management in a total of five years of full-time study. All requirements for both degree programs must be satisfied. The total credits required for the 4+1 degree are 33 credits. See program page for the degree for a full list of requirements. Students apply and are admitted to the 4+1 program as juniors/seniors (before they graduate) but cannot remain in the program unless they earn a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Students should consult with their advisor early in the program to ensure they choose appropriate coursework. A maximum of 9 credits of any 600 level or higher of Environmental Science and Management courses may simultaneously count towards fulfilling the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. |
