Biomedical Engineering/Quantitative Systems Pharmacology 4+1 (BBE/MS)

Program Requirements

The Quantitative Systems Pharmacology 4+1 program allows students the ability to earn the Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering and Master of Science in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology in a total of five years of full-time study. All requirements for both degree programs must be satisfied. The total credits required for the 4+1 degree are 150 credits. See program pages for each degree for a full list of requirements. Students apply and are admitted to the 4+1 program as juniors (before they graduate) but cannot remain in the program unless they earn a Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering. Students should consult with their advisor early in the program to ensure they choose appropriate coursework. A maximum of 6 credits of graduate course work (600 level and above) taken while an undergraduate, may be “dual-counted” toward the Bachelor and the Master degrees.
