Program Requirements
The Biomedical Engineering/Biopharmaceutical Sciences 4+1 (BBE/MS) program allows students the ability to earn the Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (BBE) and the Master of Science (MS) in Biopharmaceutical Sciences in a total of five years of full-time study. All requirements for both degree programs must be satisfied. The total credits required for the 4+1 degree are 30 credits. Students apply and are admitted to the 4+1 program as seniors (before they graduate) but cannot remain in the program unless they earn a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering. Students should consult with their advisor early in the program to ensure they choose appropriate coursework. A maximum of 6 credits of graduate course work (600 level and above) taken while an undergraduate, may be “dual-counted” toward the Bachelor’s and the Master’s degrees. |
