Outcomes:
1.1 Students will pursue the advanced development of their compositional craft.
1.2 The student will prepare to conduct scores for all literature studied by the large ensemble(s) in their sub-concentration.
1.3 The student will record and evaluate their conducting throughout their study to develop habits of self-reflection and iterative growth.
Goal 2.
…develop attributes of an independent musical artist and scholar by synthesizing knowledge and skills in order to advance professional projects and goals.
Outcomes:
2.1 A graduate of this program will synthesize theoretical, historical, and socio-cultural ways of understanding music to inform their conducting.
2.2 A graduate of this program will be able to demonstrate the skills integral to building and maintaining a career in conducting in the 21st Century
