Program Educational Goals:
- Effectively Communicate

Major Requirements:
In order to fulfill DLE credit requirements (total 6 credits), students are required to complete 3 credits of approved Discovery Learning Experience(s) with a passing grade or a “P” grade for courses graded Pass/Fail only, in addition to LEAD 490. Expanding Perspectives:
15 credits. Cultural Impacts
Complete one of the following: - Foreign Language Course: Completion of any level course from the following subject areas with minimum grades of D-: ARAB, CHIN, FREN, GREK, GRMN, HEBR, ITAL, JAPN, KORE, LATN, RUSS, SPAN. Initial placement will depend on the number of years of high school study of foreign language. Students with four or more years of high school work in a single foreign language, or who have gained proficiency in a foreign language by other means, may attempt to fulfill the requirement in that language by taking an exemption examination through the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures .
