Epidemiology (MPH)

Program Educational Goals:


Graduates of the Master of Public Health in Epidemiology will be able to:

  • Utilize foundational public health concepts and core public health competencies (as outlined in MPH program accreditation standards) to meet public health challenges.  [Goal 1]
  • Select epidemiologic methods and epidemiologic study designs appropriate to address research questions. [Goal 2]
  • Apply appropriate data analysis and management techniques to analyze epidemiologic data and present epidemiologic data in appropriate formats. [Goal 3]
  • Demonstrate the use of epidemiologic data to inform and evaluate health policies. [Goal 4]
