Finance (MS)

Program Educational Goals:


  1. Use dynamic modeling of big financial data including statistical inference to facilitate effective decision making.
  2. Design and implement financial analytics algorithms to solve financial problems using big data.
  3. Use data visualization and financial analytics tools to facilitate effective decision making and communication.

Requirements for the Degree:


Required Courses:


24 credits.

Electives:


Six credits. Elective Courses can be any pre-approved 600 and/or 800-level FINC, ACCT, ECON, STAT, APEC or MATH course. Students are not limited to these courses and, with the approval of the program director, other graduate courses can be used to satisfy elective requirements.

Credits to Total a Minimum of 30
