Museum Studies and Public Engagement Certificate

Certificate Requirements:

The certificate requires 12 credits of coursework distributed as follows: Three (3) credits of Introduction coursework; three (3) credits of Internship coursework; six (6) credits of elective coursework, of which at least three credits must come from MSST core courses and up to three credits may come from approved non-MSST courses.

Introductory Coursework:

MSST 600 - Introduction to Museums and Public Engagement Credit(s): 3

Internship:

MSST 804 - Museum Internship Credit(s): 3
Work experience may satisfy some or all of this requirement with prior approval from the Program Director.

Elective Coursework:

Six (6) credits of elective coursework, of which at least three (3) credits must come from MSST core courses and up to three (3) credits may come from approved non-MSST courses.
