Certificate Requirements
A total nine credits is required to meet three specific categories of requirements. The certificate is open to ALL undergraduate students.
Basics of the Entrepreneurial Mindset and Skillset:
Three credits from the following:
Underpinning Content in Health Sciences:
Three credits from the following:
Health Entrepreneurship Practicum:
One of the following:
Note:
Substitutes for the “Health Entrepreneurship Practicum” requirement will be allowable if and only if the substitute provides a meaningful opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience in pursuing the development of a novel solution to a human health or health care-related problem (ENTR 364 ).
Students seeking approval for a course substitute will be required to submit a request in writing to the certificate’s faculty director. The request should indicate the course being proposed as a substitute and address how the course activities/project(s) can be expected to satisfy the criterion noted above.
