A maximum of three credits of independent study in Applied Economics and Statistics and a maximum of six credits in all areas, including Applied Economics and Statistics, may be counted toward a degree.

Area of Application:

This program requires a fifteen-credit area of application outside Statistics. This may be satisfied by completing an approved minor in Advertising, Business Administration, Economics, Resource Economics, Computer Science or Bioinformatics. Minors in Mathematics or Statistical Data Analytics may not be used. This may also be satisfied by completing a second major in Food and Agribusiness Marketing and Management, Actuarial Sciences, Marketing, Management, Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Operations Management, or Computer Science. Any other major or minor or selection of 15 credits requires the approval of the Chair.

Electives:

After required courses are completed, sufficient elective credits must be taken to meet the minimum credit requirement for the degree.
