Degree Requirements:


The Associate in Arts (AA) in Education degree is designed for students enrolled in Georgetown who have an interest in elementary education. This degree includes the General Studies courses and EDUC 100 , EDUC 205 , EDUC 210 , EDUC 230 , EDUC 240 /EDUC 247 , and EDUC 258 /EDUC 259  in the Elementary Teacher Education program. Upon successful completion of this degree and passing the Praxis I exam, students wishing to complete their BSED degree will move to the ETE program in Newark. Information regarding admission requirements may be found in the Undergraduate Admission section of this catalog.
