Requirements for the MA Degree (36 credits)
Core Curriculum 24 CREDITS
Area of Research 6 CREDITS
Student take between six credits of coursework in their area of interest. Faculty will pre-define several areas that the School has strength in, but students are also free to develop their own area of focus with the advice and consent of their academic advisor. Students completing the Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation will need to take nine credits in the area of research (see note).
Historic Preservation Graduate Certificate Student Requirements
Students enrolled in the Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation will replace the Area of Research with the following 12 credits: Thesis 6 CREDITS
As a culminating learning experience, students will complete a thesis (UAPP 869 , 6 credits)
