Community Engagement Scholars Course of Study

Core:

• UAPP 110 - Changing the World and Public Policy Credit(s): 3
• UAPP 167 - SEMINAR Credit(s): 1-6
• Nine credits drawn from the major or minor that relates to community engagement goals.
• Two credits of coursework that integrates co-curricular service and academics.
• Three credits of a capstone/culminating experience (typically within the major or minor).

Other Requirements:

• Participation in one immersive academically-based program that includes extensive direct practice with a community partner.

• 160 hours of participation in community-based service.
• Submission in the senior year of an e-portfolio that includes a record of academic and other requirements.
