Computer Science Honors (HBS)

Honors Requirements:

For these honors degrees, the recipient must complete:

1. All requirements for the corresponding regular degree program: Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science , the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science , or the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems .
2. All of the University’s generic requirements for the Honors Degree . Note: Graduate courses in CISC numbered 600 or above will count as Honors courses in the major.
3. Degree with Distinction: for this degree, the recipient must complete:

• All requirements for the corresponding regular degree program: Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science , Bachelor of Science in Computer Science , or Bachelor of Science in Information Systems .
• All of the University’s generic requirements for the Degree with Distinction , including a thesis (UNIV 401  and UNIV 402 ) supervised by a computer science faculty member.

4. If pursuing an Honors Degree with Distinction, the student must have a cumulative grade point index of at least 3.4 at the time of registration for UNIV 401 .
