Students considering a minor in Astronomy should consult the Director of Physics and Astronomy Undergraduate Programs for advice on prerequisites for these courses and for assignment to an advisor.

Students can earn a minor or major in Physics as well as a minor in Astronomy. However, with the exception of PHYS 207 , PHYS 208 , and PHYS 245 , courses applied toward the Astronomy minor cannot at the same time count toward either a Physics major or Physics minor.
