The graduate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies requires 11 course credits. Students must earn a grade of B or higher in order for the credits to count toward the certificate. The course requirements include the following:

The writing requirement should be an extended piece of scholarly writing in Women and Gender Studies. This may be part of an MA thesis, a Ph.D. dissertation, or an essay of publishable quality.
