Program Overview

The Certificate in Women & Gender Studies contributes to the methodological training, the theoretical knowledge, and research skills of graduate students from a variety of departments. Many disciplines in the social sciences and humanities utilize feminist approaches to engage in the analysis of women, gender and sexuality in their graduate courses. This Certificate enriches the home department’s disciplinary training of graduate students with in-depth interdisciplinary training from the Department of Women and Gender Studies.

Requirements for Admission

Master and Doctoral Students already matriculated in other graduate programs at the University of Delaware may apply for acceptance in the Certificate program. Students with a 3.0 or higher GPA will be considered for acceptance.
