Program Overview

The Certificate in Women and Gender Studies contributes to the methodological training, the theoretical knowledge, and research skills of graduate students from a variety of departments. Many disciplines in the social sciences and humanities engage in women, gender, sexuality and feminist analysis in their graduate courses. This Certificate enriches the disciplinary training of graduate students with in-depth interdisciplinary training.

Requirements for Admission

Master and Doctoral Students already matriculated in other graduate programs at the University of Delaware may apply for acceptance in the Certificate program. Students with a 3.0 or higher GPA will be considered for acceptance.
