ELEG 848 - Computing and Data Science for Soft Materials Innovation

This (graduate-only) elective involves students solving soft materials (MAT) focused projects submitted by scientists in industry and national laboratories using high-performance computing (HPC) and/or data science (DS). Each project is tackled by a team of ~3-4 students with 1-2 students from HPC/DS technical background and 1-2 from MAT technical background. The co-instructors and industrial/national lab mentors (who submitted the projects) guide the teams through teamwork, collaboration, and oral & written communication exercises.
