Course on plate tectonics with an emphasis on the history of plate tectonics, plate kinematics and dynamics, and processes at plate boundaries. Topics are explored from the perspective of marine geology and geophysical techniques. Course is taught through lectures, scientific literature discussions, class activities, homework, and a term presentation.
