UAPP 701 - Public Policymaking Credit(s): 3 PUBLIC POLICYMAKING Component: Lecture This course examines the policy-making process in the United States with a focus on understanding current policy issues and debates. We consider the sources and types of policy, the institutional and structural dimensions of the policy-making process, and how political and economic power shapes and is shaped by policy choices.
