Explore the foundations of environmental science, with an emphasis on current case studies selected to demonstrate the inherent complexity of the field, and to provide examples of successful, multi-faceted interdisciplinary approaches to addressing these challenges.  Focus will also be placed on mastering foundational skills for success in environmental careers such as critical thinking, scientific inquiry, problem solving, and quantitative literacy.
