INTRODUCTION TO ECONOMETRICS

This course provides an introduction to econometrics, with a focus on application and practice. The main objective of this course is to teach students to use and interpret a basic set of quantitative methods frequently employed in empirical analysis of economic phenomena. Applications of these methods will be emphasized throughout the course. Course topics include a review of estimation and hypothesis testing, linear regression and several extensions to linear regression.
