HLPR 222 - Introduction to Epidemiology Credit(s): 3 INTRODUCTION TO EPIDEMIOLOGY Component: Lecture Introduces the basic concepts of epidemiology as applied to public health problems. Particular emphasis is placed on measures of disease frequency, study design and measures of association, as well as the use of epidemiological concepts and methods in addressing public health issues.
