CHEM 457 - Inorganic Chemistry II Credit(s): 3 INORGANIC CHEMISTRY II Component: Lecture Overview of the chemistry of transition metal complexes. Emphasis on their structure, bonding and spectroscopy, as well as the mechanistic understanding of their reactivity. Introduction to advanced topics such as organometallic chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, and the frontiers of inorganic chemistry as applied to the fields of energy, catalysis, human health, and advanced materials. Participation in a separate discussion section is required.
