PHYS 201 - Introductory Physics I Credit(s): 3 INTRODUCTORY PHYSICS I Component: Lecture First course in a sequence with PHYS 202 that provides an introduction to physics for students in the life and environmental sciences. Introduction to concepts of force, energy, and momentum, with examples of linear, rotational, and oscillatory motion. Solid body and fluid mechanics discussed.
