POSC 831 - Frontiers in Critical International Relations TheoryCredit(s): 3 CRITICAL IR THEORY Component: Lecture Brings together theoretical debate in contemporary political theory and contemporary international relations (IR) theory. As a follow up to introductory courses in those fields, this course will focus entirely on the current literature, issues, and debates in critical IR . Intended to include critical theory generally, post-structuralism, post-colonial IR, feminist IR, neo-constructivism, “critical liberalism” and IR scholarship based around key authors such as Bourdieu, Foucault, Habermas, Said, and others.
