NSCI 402 - Mindfulness and the Brain

MINDFULNESS & THE BRAIN

In this writing-intensive, discussion-based class, we will explore the neuroscience behind the reported benefits that are gained through mindfulness practices, including better emotion regulation, increased focus and attention, and improvements in overall well-being. Students will learn mindfulness skills for experiential learning as well as gain practice in asserting ideas and opinions in writing and during class discussions.
