MUSC 122 - History of Film Music Credit(s): 3 HISTORY OF FILM MUSIC Component: Lecture This course will examine the history of music in film from its beginnings at the turn of the Twentieth century to present day. It will trace the evolution of major composers and their influences, as well as provide students with a detailed overview of cinema’s diverse history. The class is historical survey which also incorporates elements of a seminar.
