The focus of this course is on promoting environmental stewardship, enhancement of the quality of life for farm families and communities, increasing production for human food and fiber needs, and protection of the environment and expansion of the natural resources supply. Topics such as ecological, economic and social concerns related to agriculture, its impact on human health and philosophical considerations associated with agricultural production may also be addressed in this course.
