MAST 453 - Marine Organic Geochemistry Credit(s): 3 MARINE ORGANIC GEOCHEMISTRY Component: Lecture This course examines marine organic matter (OM) as it relates to marine and global carbon cycling including: (1) seawater and sediment OM molecular composition and reactivity, (2) OM biomarkers, (3) current OM geochemical analytical techniques. Activities include lectures, discussions, student presentations, and a research paper.
