ENGL 450 - Legal Argument

LEGAL ARGUMENT
Component: Lecture
This course is geared for students who are planning to attend law school. The first part of the semester focuses on the personal statement, a key component of law school applications. Analyze appropriate topics, advanced storytelling skills, streamlined organization, and other elements of the statement. The second part of the course focuses on the mandatory writing students will encounter in their first year of law school. By analyzing court opinions, legal briefs, and other sources, students will create a strong basis for doing well in mandatory first-year legal writing courses and on their final exams.
