LLCU 337 - Brazil Through Film Credit(s): 3 BRAZIL THROUGH FILM Component: Lecture Examines Brazilian culture and history through film, film techniques and movements. Other disciplines will help provide an understanding of Brazilian film, including history, literature, gender studies, sociology, cultural studies, politics, and ethnic studies. Topics include religion, gender issues, ethnicity, migration, identity, music, and popular culture. Taught in English. Portuguese films have English subtitles.
