Survey of contemporary North African civilization. Taught abroad in Morocco or Tunisia. Incorporates geography, history, society, economy and politics, with an emphasis on Tunisia. Emphasis on Tunisia’s cultural fluidity through Islamic, French Colonial, and post-Independence governments. Taught in English.
