MEEG 486 - Cell and Tissue Transport Credit(s): 3 CELL AND TISSUE TRANSPORT Component: Lecture Analysis of water, solute, gas, and heat exchange in microcirculation and relationship between structure and function. Transport in biological porous media examined and applied to arterial wall, bone, and cartilage. Active transport across membranes considered and applied to kidney and secretary organs.
