MAST 428 - Offshore Wind Power: Science, Eng & Pol Credit(s): 3 OFFSHORE WIND POWER Component: Lecture Integrates multiple disciplines required to understand, plan, regulate and develop offshore wind resources for large-scale power production. Offshore wind is emerging as a critical technology for large CO2 reductions because the technology is available, proven, and cost-competitive, and the resource near population centers.
