MAST 497 - Bioinformatics Programming for Biologists Credit(s): 3 BIOINFORMATICS PROG FOR BIOLOG Component: Lecture Basic PERL programming for biologists doing bioinformatics research with no experience in computer programming. Teaches PERL syntax enabling editing and trouble-shooting existing PERL programs/modules without writing new programs/scripts. Uses Biowolf parallel computing cluster at DBI. Goal is proficiency with computers from command-line, unix-based, terminal interface.
