PSYC 462 - Language Acquisition Credit(s): 4 LANGUAGE ACQUISITION Component: Lecture The factors which distinguish human language from animal communication, as well as the development of many facets of language (semantics, syntax and phonology). To supplement reading and discussion, students gain research experience by working approximately eight hours per week on the on-going language acquisition projects.
