GEOL 453 - Introduction to Geophysics Credit(s): 3 INTRODUCTION TO GEOPHYSICS Component: Lecture Introduction to geophysical methods that may include seismic reflection and refraction, side-scan sonar, multibeam sonar, ground-penetration radar (GPR), LiDAR, and resistivity exploration methods and interpretations. Additional topics that could be addressed include seismology, magnetism, gravity, and geodesy.
