HIST OF ARAB-ISRAELI CONFLICT

Topics include: the origins of Zionism, the nature of traditional Arab/Ottoman society in the 19th century, the relationship between the early Zionists and indigenous Arab population of Palestine, the creation of a Jewish society, the rise of Palestinian nationalism, and the protracted search for coexistence between Jews and Arabs.
