LATN 601 - Latin Prose: Selected AuthorsCredit(s): 3 LATIN PROSE Component: Lecture Focuses on the works (in the original language) of one or more prose authors with particular attention to interpretative issues such as themes and contemporary intellectual and cultural milieu. Readings drawn from the philosophical, historical, and oratorical works of authors such as Tacitus, Pliny the Elder, Pliny the Younger, Caesar, Cicero, Sallust, and Seneca in rotation or in combination. Repeatable for Credit: Y Allowed Units: 3 Multiple Term Enrollment: Y Grading Basis: Student Option PREREQ: LATN401 or LATN402 or equivalent (three and a half years of Latin at the College level).
