ELEG 632 - Mathematical Methods for Signal Processing (3cr.) Credit(s): 3 MATH METHODS FOR SIGNAL PROC Component: Lecture Provides the mathematical foundation for advanced studies in information processing. In addition, Matlab and Simulink, tools commonly used by electrical and other engineers, are introduced in the context of assisting in solving the mathematical problems. Examines differential equations and matrix and linear algebra. Solution to both linear and non-linear ordinary differential equation are found analytically and with Matlab. For problems without analytical solutions, numerical ones are sought using Simulink. Allowed Units: 3 Grading Basis: Student Option PREREQ: Must be a graduate of an accredited undergraduate engineering program.
