FAMILY CONFLICT AND THE CHILD
Component: Lecture
Analysis of conflicted relationships within family and their implications for developmental outcomes. Topics include transition to parenthood, spanking and coercive relationships, maltreatment, and marital conflict and disruption. The approach consists of assessment of risk models.

PREREQ: Grades of C- or better in PSYC 207 , and PSYC 209  or substitutes (MATH 202 , MATH 205 , STAT 200 , SOCI 301 ).
